An easy to make sauce to coat all your dishes (meat, rice, pasta, vegetables, pancakes ...)
Pour single cream into a bowl.
Add flavourings (salt, pepper, grated or other cheese, curry-type spices, herbs, condiments, maybe pre-cooked diced ham or lardons, or pieces of cooked mushroom, etc.).
If you have time, brown your lardons or mushrooms for a gourmet flavour.
Mix with a spatula and check the seasoning.
Cook quickly for 2 minutes in a microwave or a saucepan and pour over pasta or rice.
This type of instant sauce can also make delicious gratins (pasta, potato, etc.), baked in the oven.
