These are softened butters in which we just add flavoring ingredients (spices, herbs ....). These butters will serve as a topping on meat or grilled fish on vegetables, pasta, potatoes or on slices of toasted bread
Your butter should already have been softened using a spatula.
If you cut the butter into small pieces, you will be able to soften it more quickly.
When the butter is nice and soft, put it in a mixing bowl.
Pour over your ingredients (herbs finely cut ...), salt, pepper ....
Mix the butter with the ingredients to make a compound butter
For a refined presentation, fill small ramekins of your compound butter and refrigerate
